Pickup service
Online orders are for customer pickup only from:
Barker RdMaidstone
ME15 6JQ
This pickup point is separate from the company's registered office. We do not offer delivery through this online ordering service.
ASAP pickup
At present, online orders use ASAP pickup. ASAP means we place an accepted order into the next available preparation queue; it is not a guarantee that food will be ready immediately or at a particular minute. Collection availability depends on the service being open, the order and the current workload.
Scheduled pickup
Scheduled pickup times are not currently available. They will not form part of an order unless valid opening hours and pickup slots have been configured, the selected time is saved with the order, and that time appears in the final review before payment.
Menu, options and availability
Products, options, descriptions, availability and prices can change. The order site shows the current information supplied by our ordering system. A product displayed on the menu is not a promise that it will remain available until an order is accepted.
You must select any required product options shown in the order journey. We calculate item prices from the product and valid selected options held by our ordering system, rather than relying on a total supplied by your browser.
Product images or descriptions are illustrative. We aim to describe food accurately, but handmade presentation and available garnishes may vary without changing the essential product.
Allergens and dietary needs
Do not rely on a product name, short description, image or a “vegan” label to decide whether food is safe for an allergy, intolerance or coeliac disease.
Email [email protected] and wait until your needs have been discussed before placing the order. The online checkout is not designed to collect health or allergy instructions, and a general order note is not a safe substitute for that conversation.
Official customer guidance is available from the Food Standards Agency.
Prices and online order fee
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Before payment, the final review shows the food subtotal, a mandatory 10p online order fee and the total amount due. The fee applies only to an online order and is included in the final total.
We calculate and confirm the authoritative total on our server from current product prices and valid options. A changed, outdated or manipulated browser total will not alter the amount due.
Submitting and accepting an order
- Choose available items and required options, then review the basket, pickup information, contact details, fee and total.
- Submit the order once. Your submission is an offer to buy the listed food under these terms.
- Complete payment on the selected provider's hosted checkout. A checkout handoff or a pending bank authorisation by itself does not confirm that we accepted the order.
- A contract is formed when payment has been successfully verified and we confirm that the order has been accepted.
We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance if ordering is closed, an item or required option is unavailable, contact or payment details cannot be validated, the payment is not confirmed, the request appears duplicate or abusive, or we cannot safely fulfil it. If a verified payment was taken for an order we cannot fulfil, we will arrange the appropriate refund.
Hosted payment
Final payment takes place with the selected payment provider on its hosted checkout. Pharaoh's Food does not display card fields and does not receive or store your card number or card security code. The provider's own terms and privacy information also apply while you use its page.
We use the payment result returned by the provider and independently verify it against the order reference and amount. Do not start another payment if the result is pending or unclear. Use the order status page or contact us so the existing attempt can be checked.
Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- provide accurate contact and order information;
- use a phone number on which you can receive collection contact;
- review each item, option, fee, pickup detail and total;
- contact us before ordering if you need allergen information;
- collect an accepted order from the displayed pickup point as soon as reasonably possible after it is ready; and
- not misuse, interfere with, scrape excessively, reverse engineer or attempt unauthorised access to the websites or ordering service.
Cancellations, problems and refunds
Fresh food is prepared for the order, so contact us immediately if you wish to cancel. Change-of-mind cancellation may no longer be available after preparation begins. If an order is missing, incorrect, unsafe, not as described or not supplied, your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Details are in our Refund Policy.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business loss arising from a consumer order, or for disruption outside our reasonable control where we have taken reasonable steps to reduce its effect.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow that, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
General terms
If one part of these terms is found unenforceable, the other parts continue. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. We may update these terms for future orders; the version shown during your order applies to that order.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you keep any mandatory consumer rights and court protections that apply where you live.
